Dan and Susie Kirlin, of Boulder Colorado, have lost part of their land to an ex-judge/ex-mayor and his lawyer wife. Richard McLean and his wife Edith Stevens sued and using a old law, adverse possession, were able to take land away from the couple.

Of course, I'm not a lawyer, but... Reading this article sure strikes a chord with me, and by looking at the comments with a lot of other people.
